Yes, after seeing the other posts here, I took a very close look at that. No slop in the timing chain (checked by hand) and also listened carefully under cold start and revving. Seems healthy.

Its a 1 owner car, clean carfax no wrecks.

Hi All, I was formerly a very active member here when I had a Mazdaspeed Protege. Considering a return back to the Mazda Family with a second car. I am looking at a clean, high mileage 2007 mazdaspeed 3. Has almost 200K miles on it, but has not been modified and most of those are freeway...

I have a 2003 Protege 5 ECU. Took it out of my P5 when I had it and replaced it with a MP3 flashed ECU, when my car was totalled, I never swapped them back. It's a factory N/A 5 Speed ECU. Shoot me an offer in PM.

Please see my previous post ... side rails not included. Your car must have come with the side rails but not the cross bars to use this (as many P5 did).

Bump .... Also ... You must have the factory installed side rails installed to use this rack. These pieces are the cross bars and all the pieces necessary to hold them in only. Many P5s are out there with the side rails, but no cross bars. These are the cross bars and will complete your rack.
