I am fairly confident the issue is not caused by air in the system. I will pull and test the coolant temp sensor and replace it if is the problem. make sure you run the heat so air doesnt get trapped in the heater core as well.

I have never changed my coil packs/plugs. I will test the packs with a meter and replace if necessary. I will also replace the plugs. As for MPG, I regularly get ~31+ on the freeway...
