My wifes '15 Touring transmissoin failed after 33k miles on the way back home from a road trip. Lucky it failed 7 miles away from a dealer in Utah. Took them a week to replace it with a new one.

That green indicator is only for when the headlights are on. When my headlights are on that indicator stays on when my fog lights are on or off. I normally do not have my fog lights on and that light lights up every time my lights turn on.

I have SCBS and do not have a sensor in the emblem (tech package only. Did not get iActivesense). It is located in the glass behind the rear view mirror. I think the emblem has the radar sensor for radar cruz control and brake support above 18mph (forget what they all it).

I live in Colorado and have already had to drive in the snow using the 19" OEM tires. I think the tire grip is about the same as when I had my 2007 civic but the AWD is great for getting that extra traction when you accelerate from a stop light. I see other front wheel drive cars spinning...

The smell is normal and should go away after a short while. I had the same issues you are reporting. The brakes should also quiet down when they wear in.
