I've tried putting some Meguiar's leather conditioner to the seats. I followed the directions, putting the cream on a clean cloth and then applying it to the leather seats. It seems to have filled many of the breathing holes in the leather in several places. Anyone have a better way?

Yes, I found that too - thank you. I guess I just figured since it came with the Tech Pkg that it would be the one with the compass (bad ju ju on Mazda's part).

I was thinking that too, but now I'm looking for compass direction on the Nav screen and don't see one so if Mazda thought they were duplicating features they were mistaken (unless I'm missing it on the Nav screen somewhere).

The Tech Pkg comes with the auto-dimming mirror with Homelink. I assumed it had the compass feature but unless it's turned off, I don't see any compass directions in the mirror. I see in the Mazda official accessories brochure that they list an "auto-dimming mirror with compass and Homelink."...

How did you know that the oil "that came with it" was 0w-20 Castrol Syntec? Also, I see Castrol has renamed Syntec to Castrol Edge but there are 2: "Castrol Edge with Syntec Technology" and "Castrol Edge with Titanium." Any idea which is better for the 2013 Mazda CX-5?

Which Castrol synthetic (Edge w/ Syntech Technology or Edge w/ Titanium) is best, what change interval and does the drain plug washer have to be replaced with each change?
