So thank you for everyones assistance with this. Removed the storage box and milled the excess plastic from the rear. Drilled a hole in the middle and screwed in the 12volt outlet. Ran the wires and finished.

Well since they stated that I found a set used locally in 16" and was considered if they would fit. Hoping someone new if the 16" would clear the brake calipers.
So thinking of purchasing some wheels and snow tires and one recommendation from tire Rack is 16. My current grand touring is running 19.
Anyone else doing this ? Thoughts?

My two dogs are pretty settled down in the car. I put the rear seats down and lay two moving blankets from Harbor Freight over the carpet. Tuck them in and good to go. Again it depends on how crazy your dogs are I guess.
I have not been on a trip yet so all local driving. I am getting 26 mpg consistently with my 2016 GT (no roof rack). I check it each time I fill up and the display is pretty accurate.
