Yes although I imagine there would be a lot of overlap if they offered all four here, especially when you consider we also get both the CX-8 and CX-9 as well. It might make more sense to bring just the CX-60, CX-80 and CX-90 which could act like a premium range to the CX-5, CX-8 and CX-9.
I wasn’t sure about the exterior styling when it was first revealed, but I think it looks fantastic in this spec! The interior looks great too, and I love the new digital instrument cluster. Performance looks very strong, and of course being a PHEV it will have very low running costs.
It was...
I think I prefer this lower-spec one as well. The vents look sleeker and the overall design looks sharper and less blunt-nosed. The higher-spec bumper has some awkward shapes which are particularly apparent in the lighter colours.
I created another Photoshop hack job, this time based on a red CX-60 using Volvo XC-60 wheels:
The original image appears to be a base model due to the black plastic lower trims and different front bumper design to the other images we've seen:
I'm still not a fan of the weird looking...
I must admit I'm not a huge fan of the exterior design, although the pictures of that red one look pretty good. I guess it depends on the spec and colour.
I've done some rough Photoshopping of the white one to see how it would look with a blacked-out grill, bigger wheels (from an Audi RSQ8) and...
Love it! The body kit looks great with those wheels. I was thinking of getting the same one, but it was a $2k+ option in Australia and I couldnt justify it 😩
Mine were also 3. Once theyre clamped on they wont rattle. Note that I painted the ends of the original tips black so they were less visible inside. Theres another thread on here about exhaust tips if you need more ... err ... tips :P
Hehe, thanks! I actually think the CX-5 is one of the best looking SUVs on the market, especially with the right stance. It puts a lot of more expensive SUVs to shame, let alone other SUVs in its own price bracket. Of course Im not biased at all :P
