Life has been hella crazy. The 4 cylinder compressor is now mounted up to the aluminum plate that I fabbed up. Spaced it away from the block for clearance and through bolted the compressor to the plate.

So doing some more exploring I found that the A/C system in the Protege is far simpler than I first thought. The FS compressor will need a little work though. It needs to have the KL clutch and pulley swapped onto it since the FS runs one less rib in the A/C belt. It is pretty straight forward...

The N48 thats on Andy's car fit the lines just fine. :shrug:

Did you have the lines in the same positions as in the pic?

Sorry I've been slacking. Hopefully this weekend Ill get a chance to pressure test the system and check for leaks. The compressor came off of a Probe. I only had to tweak a line slightly to get it to line up. Nothing had to be bored out or otherwise modified to fit. They seriously bolted...

If I can remember tonight ill look at what compressor in on Andy's car. Ill also un bolt the lines from his car and do some measuring and comparing to the original P5 compressor.

Thoughts/ opinions on these wheels?

Heh, didn't take long did it? Forgot to mention it now also has brand new GR2's all the way around. 120+ feels uber smooth now. (naughty) ...and its faster than a MSP on 10psi. (yes)

The P6 is feeling better nowadays. Still lack the rear door but damage to it is minimal and it will be on the back burner for a while.
