Lower control arms ? Only way to check is get it up off the ground and check for worn components with play.

Have you checked brake pads to make sure there not shifting in the calipers ?

I'd take it back and make them take a look at it since they just did a major repair.

They won't void your entire warranty just for having mods but if a mod is a direct cause of a failure they will void warranty replacement of the failed part. I work for a dealership and have done warranty admin.

Long story short no they will not fit r15 indicates a 15 inch rim. You have a 16 inch rim now so no they will not fit first two numbers are in reference to width and height of tire.stick with stock size so your not messing with speedo values. No need to change size just for new tires unless...
