I've done it, we mounted the antenna under the center grille as I don't have the bose... It works well except when under trees / overhangs which is to be expected... I've heard others mounting to the dash board up near the windshield with the cable coming from the center grille area.. they...

There was a TSB on that, I had it worked on at my dealer who resolved the issue... I have since simply replaced the head unit because I hated the sound quality...

The Polks are deinitely more efficient speakers, Kicker has always been best used in a high power situation, Polks with moderate power because they are so much more efficient. Polks imo are a much more musical speaker as well. I use kickers in my son's car as I know they can handle more abuse :)
