    Rotating tires at home

FYI, a hockey puck fits perfect on a jack if you're lifting at the pinch welds and don't want to maul them up over time Also, I put the front up on stands and then just lift the back from the diff with the jack to do all 4 wheels up at once to rotate them. Never trust a jack to hold if you're...

5x10 Trailer - Too wide to tow with CX5?

Considering where this thread is going, I hope you plan on hauling some wood.

5x10 Trailer - Too wide to tow with CX5?

I pull this 5x8 around with my car and the wife's CX5. Works great! A 5x10 won't be much different, with either you just need to be careful not to overload it too much. Hauling junk to the dump, compost, woodchips, riding lawnmower, lumber, all no problem. That gate / ramp on the back sucks...

    Normal tire wear?

Too much toe in or out will cause wear on the inside edge and scaling (usually in for stability). It doesn't have to be a camber issue to look like that.

    Mazda3 16 inch wheel fit?

I bet they do. The brakes on the CX5 are tiny compared to my MS3, and I have 16s on the 3 for winter. They're steelies though, and they barely clear. Alloy 16s probably wouldn't fit my car, but considering how much smaller the CX5 brakes are, well, that's my reasoning. Give it a try and let...

    Gas Tank Reserve

Not sure about all CX5s, but the GTs with tech, with their mpg / distance to empty / info display will turn orange when fuel gets low. They'll also turn red when it's REALLY low. Even on red you can drive another 10+ miles. I've never seen it go red on my wife's car, but we took one for a...

2013 CX- 5 - Touring awd -problem with the HID headlamps with auto leveling

Yep, the up/down adjuster with the metal teeth should be easy to turn with a phillips screwdriver. If you're making adjustments against a wall or garage door or something, a small change will make a big difference down the road.

New 2016 CX-5 Questions and thoughts

5 pages and no one mentioned the removal of the pantie dropper? (confused) Been waiting for our first good snowstorm to take the wife's cx5 out for some fun in an empty parking lot. The handbrake is / was in an awesome position in this car.

    2015 Forester VS 2015 CX-5?

When shopping 2014s last year, we had it narrowed down to CX5 or Forester CVTs drive like s***. Most people don't 'drive' anymore and must not really care, otherwise Subaru would be looking like Mitsubishi or Suzuki by now. Forester cabin roominess and visibility is great, and the huge...

Added a 2nd Mazda to the family stable

Nice! Looks alot like my garage except my MS3 is TrueRed (also an 08.5) and the wife's CX5 is CPW. And there's no way you'd ever find a bears flag in my garage, Go Pack!

Fuel system clean / direct injection

I think the OP is talking about dirty gummed up intake valves. It's something that's inevitable with DI. As long as emissions systems like the PCV / EGR keep dumping crap back down the intake, it's going to happen. On older port injected systems, the injectors sprayed fuel in the intake...
