Thanks! I bought a white 2007 Ford Ranger commuter last year, didn't care about the color (never had white before). Surprised how it does not heat up much standing in the sun all day and how easy it is to keep clean.

We picked it up tonight after work and went out for dinner. Think we made the right choice :-)

Update: My wife bought a white Touring with preferred equ. Package today and is happy. I'm happy she got the black interior. Thank you all for your advice!

Update: My wife decided on her own that, though she likes the look of beige better, she will go with black because it will hold up better.

Update: absolute desaster at the dealership today. Condescending bahvior and were lied to the face. Almost like a bait and switch. Never experienced anything like that. Speechless.

Sales person said 2 grand is what he can take off (did not specify). Almost laughed when he added: "I can't take off more. We'll get a slap on the wrist by Mazda if we sell for less. The Japanese are very proud of their product and think they are priced adequately."
