Same boat! Just test drove the new Forrester Sport. Like it a lot but sadly even with the updated motor the thing is dead slow. My 2016 CX-5 could easily pull away from it. Now that the 2019 is available with the turbo motor I'll be heading back to the Mazda dealer when those get here!

Had mine replaced under warranty! Side note, you cannot put these special batteries on a typical charger, it won't work! Dealerships have a special, high amp charger for these specific batteries. Make sure your battery is at fault, the charging system on these cars are very different! I charged...

Ug, very disappointed. 250/310 for power/torque. Had hoped for better. Very nice interior but will admittedly cost way more than their Honda/Toyota equivalents. Will wait until some magazines do a comparison before I decide wether to get one or not.

Since both Honda and Toyota have cars that put out over 250 hp and can do 0-60 in less than 6 sec. Mazda will really have to step up their game just to be equal to a Accord or Camry. That said, as a former Speed6 owner, I’d be really interested in a turbo Mazda6,,,, if it factory specs at least...

OP, as was discussed in another thread a while ago you are correct,,,,BUT,,, only partially so. When wipers are on there is more of a torque split towards the rear but it is not set at 50-50. I do not know the split but yes, there is more torque sent rearward with wipers on. Also, at highway...

Negatives? Intake noise! LOL Positives? Slightly better top end. I did not notice any bottom end loss. It will be much better with either the canned tune or a custom tune. The midrange torque increase makes it soo much easier to drive, the top end is a nice bonus too!

Nelson, Your girl won't even notice it, the intake is louder than the exhaust. You seriously can't hear it inside the car.
