    Bilstein PSS-10 Ride height

Eric, There are lots of people who use these shocks with no issues. You drove my car and there are no sounds. If you get done this way, I would be happy to try and help resolve the issue. I did have noise from my rears, but resolved the issue. The fronts are more unique. are you share the...

What did you do to your Mazda2 today?

I attached a picture of the Cobra Imola Pro seats I removed from the 2. Let me know if anybody has any interest.

What did you do to your Mazda2 today?

Eyeballs sorry to hear that. I am pretty anal about bleeding brakes. I do it before every track day. The two things I noticed was a more immediate response when pressing the pedal and greater braking force with a given pedal pressure. My friend who drove the car with stock pads and SS lines...

What did you do to your Mazda2 today?

Is the creaking in the front or rear? I never had any noise in the front. The rears can make some noise if the bottom of the spring is not seated correctly. You may have to turn them to get them in the right position. Did you install the break lines? Did you notice any difference?

    Comp Seats and OEM Belts

Mine did not. The planted seat bases have mounts for the OEM receiver. I had to fabricate and extension piece for the passenger side, but just bolted the driver oem receiver right to the base mount. It really can depend on the dimension of your seat and set-up. I had some very close tolerances.

    What seat you running?

I think I have some pictures in another older post, but as I have mentioned before I have the Cobra Imola Pros in my car. The are mounted on planet seat bases and use the recaro slider. The seats offer good support and fit with no modifications. They work really well as a DD seat...

    Tire Choices

They should be a fun tire.

    Track days

Driving at speed is relevant. If you think the stock pads are okay, you are not pushing your car. I don't mean that to offend anybody, but it is true. The stock pads are not bad, but they can not accommodate repeated hard breaking. Better pads, brake fluid and SS brake line will make a big...

    Brake fluid recommendations

I use the valvoline as well. It is cheap and works well. Sure there is better for dedicated race car, but great for DD. It is avail down under?

Zach, I had a 2001 new with auto. Good chassis decent handling, but was a pig on fuel economy. The manual was not avialable the first year, but was a big improvement. I would have thought the LSD was standard, but apparently not. Good find. You could always stick a turbo on it.

Zach, that is a pretty good time for the 2. Turn 10 is pretty tough on brakes if you go deep. Perhaps a more aggressive/dedicated brake compound will help. I found Carbotech xp8 as a minimum for RA. I found RA to be harder on brakes versus a tracks like Barber's and AMP. You still need to...

    Track days

The only thing I do extra is run a track brake pad/rotor and I have some stainless steel break lines. There is no drive out of the corners, but I still have fun.
