SU TMIC is the 2nd generation (1st gen had some fitment issues if I recall). Had no problems with fitment on my 07 mazdaspeed 6. I have a FMIC which is why this is for sale.

So I was installing a spin on oil conversion kit when one of the 4 bolts that hold the oil filter assembly to the motor broke in half. There is about 1cm sticking out but I was unable to drill it out so I need to take it somewhere. Maybe they can carefully weld a nut on the end of it or manage...
For the future if anyone looks... (I figured it out). There is a bolt on top of the black box that needs to be removed and then the oil filter assembly will come loose.

I removed the 4 bolts holding the old oil filter assembly. If you have done this before you probably remember there is one bolt that is hard to remove thanks to this hose. I read somewhere...

I will try the barkeepers friends (always have that at my place) and the vinegar as well. Hopefully those will work. I tried scrubbing them with a rough dish sponge to no avail.
