    New 2017 CX-5 Revealed

Has anyone else noticed the bumps below the headlamps? Could there be a headlight washer system option in some markets?

What was/is your favorite CX-5 car review

This review by Brian Cooley on CNET. I actually hated this car until I saw his review. What I didn't notice until now is that he's supposed to be in a 2015, but those side view mirrors are 2013/14.

    Trailer Wiring Harness

Not sure how practical this is, but after I installed the oem wiring harness on my 2015 using the wiretaps I realized I could've done it differently. I could have gotten the curt setup to plug and play into the taillight sockets, and used the oem setup to tap into the curt setup instead of the...

Cooling fan keeps running after turning off engine

From the manual: NOTE l The cooling fan in the engine compartment could turn on for a few minutes after the ignition is switched from ON to OFF, whether or not the A/C is on or off, to cool the engine compartment quickly.

Warming car up without key in

I think this has been discussed in a previous thread. If you start the car with the key, then somehow remove the key from the vehicle, it will still run. Imagine if your battery dies and you have to put the key near the push button to start the car for a few days before you get the battery...

    Center console storage-organizing it

I still haven't figured this one out. I've come to the conclusion that it's place too far back and is too deep to be easily organized. Might have to get some stackable bins to put in there.

Hilarious - N'joy sleeping in CX-5? See this DIY

I did the same thing with a full size air mattress, car-ready air mattress pump, sleeping bag, and compression sack. The air mattress and pump fit in the space with the spare tire, and the sleeping bag stowed inside the compression sack stays in the hatch where it doesn't take up that much...

    Mazda CX-4 / 6 possibly?

You mean like all those BMW X series vehicles? I still don't know how they keep track of all of them.

    Spied: 2017 Mazda CX-9

If you check out the cars.com video, https://youtu.be/Ywz0yYZ9_mk, at 1:47, you can see that there is no hump in the third row, but thee is something on the floor. Maybe vents? Maybe the hump in the second row is duct work that provides air to the third row?

Need: Power Driver's Seat Parts Schematic

Both sides were failing, the right side more so than the left. My dealership said they contacted Mazda Warranty to troubleshoot the problem and confirm it was covered under warranty, maybe Putnam in Burlingame can do the same?

Need: Power Driver's Seat Parts Schematic

I go to the Concord Mazda service department. I don't have any experience with other dealership service departments, but they seem pretty good. I went back Thursday the 31st to have it repaired, and they got me a rental car for the day (a convertible mustang, must've been the last car the...

Need: Power Driver's Seat Parts Schematic

I am. I went back Thursday. They had to check the motor and lumbar assembly, determined the motor was good, and ordered a new lumbar assembly. I'm going back Thursday to have it repaired. Because I'm under 36000 miles it's covered under warranty.

Need: Power Driver's Seat Parts Schematic

What Mazda dealer dd you go to? I scheduled an online appointment with the one in Concord for today, Saturday, and described the issue in the appointment request. When I got there, they read my request and then told me that it sounded like warranty work, which could only be done during the...

Right side of Lumbar Support in Driver Seat Appears to be Broken

I was accelerating uphill on a short freeway on ramp when my lumbar support went "snap" and now has the same issue as yours. I'm taking mine in Saturday to find out what's wrong it. It's an on ramp I use every workday, so I'm not sure why it decided to snap then...unless I've gained a few too...
