What did you pay for your CX-5?

How are we to determine if it's a good price when we don't know the value of your trade and how much your taxes are?

Anyone go from CX-9 to CX-5?

I would like to hear people's experiences having gone from a CX-9 to a CX-5. Looking at the 5 primarily to save $ on gas. My wife drives the CX-9, mostly city miles, and averages 16-16.5 mpg. We have 2 teens, the oldest will have her own car in 6 months, so the need for a 7 passenger has...

    My Parada Spec X experience/update

Always inflated properly, I check both my vehicles every couple of weeks. Had to ask my wife if she was autocross racing while I'm at work...granted 90% of her driving is purely city.

    My Parada Spec X experience/update

October 2009 I replaced the crap factory tires with 255/50/20 Paradas. Great improvement in ride, handling, and especially wet/snow traction. Only downside, I just replaced them after 22,000 miles. They were down to 4 and 5/32, and did not want my wife driving in the snow with low tread...

Need help deciding on possible trade.

Sounds like a decent deal. Do you need AWD? Only you can determine/justify if 10k is worth 1 year newer, 12k less miles, more options, and AWD.

    Thoughts on lease buyout?

Test drove a 2011 Pilot this weekend, and it is out of the running. What a dog. We previously had a 2004 and it was really quick, the new ones are too slow and the transmission is constantly downshifting. Looking like we will be keeping the CX9.

    Thoughts on lease buyout?

I know it's not the smartest financial decision to buyout a lease, however the price is attractive, the car is like brand new still, and I can't see spending more $ on anything else at this time. We need the 3 rows for carpool purposes, although it's tight in the CX9, the only other option I...

Trip from Cali to Vegas MPG

Ours only gets 15.5 -17.5 in town driving, but on road trips fully loaded up, AC on, 80 mph we've averaged 22-23.

    Tire Replacement

AMEN!!! I live in Colorado, and I replaced the stock tires at 19k - they absolutely stunk in the snow... Now, I don't drive the 9 much as it's the wife's car, but when I do I am always impressed how much nicer the ride is with the Paradas. Handled great in the snow over the winter.

    New 255/50/20 Paradas

Thanks for bringing this back up. Winter is over for the most part, and I can now whole-heartedly recommend these tires. The are great in wet, slush, snow, and ice. The difference between these and the stock tires is like the difference between fwd and awd - it now feels like an awd vehicle...
