My 2017 GT came with 19's. I downsized to 225-65-17 for winter; I haven't had any issues, and have driven through some tough snow conditions already.

I don't find them to be loud at all. I was debating between the Continental and the Gislaved. Opted for the Continental because my sister had them on her Tiguan and they have performed well.

My 2017 GT tech has approximately 7,200km (4500 miles) on it. I have noticed s sporadic noise coming from the steering column; the sound is quick, low in volume, but with a high pitched tone. Research suggests that it might be a clock spring. Has anyone encountered this before?

I live in Toronto, and I have been running 225-65-17 Continental WinterContact Si's on my 2017 GT. They have been terrific; no slippage whatsoever. The AWD is seamless, as advertised. I'm a happy customer so far.

Agree - clear bra including the front bumper should be considered.

I picked up a set of 17 inch Continental WinterContact Si's on steel wheels for my 2017 GT, which originally came with 19" wheels. They will be installed next week. I like the idea of alloys, but I know that I won't be able to keep them squeeky clean in the winter.

What are your thoughts on mudflaps? The dealer wanted Canadian $120 per pair to add these to the car. I respectfully passed, but am wondering if I should pick them up before winter. All of my previous cars came with them from the factory (1989 Honda Civic, 2001 Toyota Corolla, and 2009 Acura...

I opted for the 3m clear bra on my hood, front bumper, and the top of the rear bumper (near the trunk); mine was installed 2 weeks after I got the car. The cost of the install is certainly cheaper than repainting the bumper.

I had the 3m film applied to the same spot on my rear bumper when I had the hood, and front bumper treated.
