    New (to me) 3

Hey Guys, It's been a while since I've been in here. I've been in and out of Mazdas for the last few years. Had a 2017 CX-3 for a short while, but ended up trading it for a Mustang. Picked up this little gem last week to use as a commuter and errand runner. One owner, 130K, garage kept...

Contemplating a CX3 - What do I need to know

I test drove the Toyota C-HR before driving the Mazda, and comparatively, the Mazda is quite loud. Engine noise is pronounced, and tire noise is definitely noticeable, but the value equation put it at the top of the heap of CUVs. The Toyota was muted, smooth and serene much like everything...

Hi all, back in Mazdatown. Bought a CX-3

Hi everyone, been a long time since I visited. As my name may indicate to some, I'm a former Mazdaspeed 6 owner and I've recently come back to the Mazda family. Lovin' it so far!

Fluid Changes: Is my dealer charging to much?

Transmission replace fluid (flush): $188 Transaxle replace fluid: $178 Those two are the same things. Technically, a RWD car has a transmission, and a FWD (or a FWD-based AWD) car has a transaxle. One of them needs to say "Rear Differential replace fluid", or else they're charging you twice...

Driving style in hot weather with air conditioner ON

"Gunning it" will only cause the ECU to turn off the A/C. Very much of that, and it'll get unbearable inside the car. No engine likes heat soak. You're bound to put out a few less HP with warmer air going into the engine. This is part of the reason I don't like TMICs...they get hot, and...

    Speed6 cross country again

C'mon...be a road warrior! In 1995 I drove from Gillette, WY to Roswell, GA in 24 hours. 1636 miles...in a 1993 Plymouth Sundance V6 with no cruise control. In 2009 I drove a Suzuki SX4 from Dallas, TX to Rapid City, SD in 16 hours. 1056 miles. I like to get the long trips...

Subaru Tribeca, Mazda 6 on the chopping block, report says

In the right color, with the right wheels, it can look pretty good. But rarely do I see one that looks like the above. In fact, I've never seen one in person with those wheels. Their 'lesser' wheel choices are lacking, IMO.

Subaru Tribeca, Mazda 6 on the chopping block, report says

Mazda thought they could get away with the same marketing scheme as Honda did...which is selling one Accord here, and a smaller one in Europe. When you're the underdog, you have to sell the same car globally. They're really in a hard spot, because they pretty much have to sell a 6 in the U.S...
