    Mazda CX-5 Touring won't start?

Mystery solved....$19.97 for brake switch part...$216 for labor.... The brake switch was faulty...did not allow the brake pedal to advance enough to start .... Car now starts perfectly, brake is not "hard"...no idiot lights on...whew! This is our second CX5 (first was 2014)...love these...

    Mazda CX-5 Touring won't start?

My 2016 CX5 GT AWD has the same symptom....hard brake pedal, won't start...Sometimes it will start in about five minutes...sometimes fifteen, But...when it does start, the idiot lights.....check engine, traction control, and tire pressure stay on. There have been a couple of times that it did...

    Bye,bye CX5....

I also find the seats comfortable. But maybe you have to like firm seats, not cushy seats. I ride my Harley from Florida to North Carolina to our cabin...no problem. Maybe my butt, over the years, has become accustomed to firm seats.

    Hitch Install U-haul nightmare

I am very happy with my class III hitch installation...no cut in bumper, tucked under neatly....my dealer has it done by local specialist in trailer hitches/installations. I did have to get a 6 inch rise on the draw bar because the hitch is low under the bumper...works great...

    Lotta road noise

My 2014.5 touring (Bose) is quiet enough for me. I tend to play the radio at high levels. I do notice a a little roof rack howl in a cross wind. But I do have some natural loss of hearing at the highest frequencies.

    118 Miles at delivery??

I have previously purchased a car from a dealer. And then had that dealer have the car driven from a dealership 85 miles away. I wasn't upset...the car was in perfect shape and a few miles, in the long run, meant nothing.

Seat Extremely Uncomfortable (2013 CX-5 Sport)

Do you guys have the power seat? I move my seat up-down, move my steering column and get very comfortable...I'm 5'9. Now, f you have a very wide butt, I could see the gas side bolster setting under your thigh (to give you the angle to the pedal)...and that might not be comfortable

Penny for your thoughts? Considering trading CX-5 for new Mazda3

Too each his own... I had a 2010 3 for a couple of years. I enjoyed it but the utility of the CX 5 is sooo much better. If you ever take friends out...and I am married, the back seat of the 5 is easier to access and more comfortable for your guests. A Mazda 3 hatchback will load more then...

    2015 CX-5 been announced yet?

Yesterday, the salesman who sold me my 2014.5 (in January) told me that they have a couple of 2015's inbound on transport. He has no idea about possible changes/differences.

    Lack of aftermarket options

Nice to have accessory in the mountains of western North Carolina where I have a cabin. NC leads the nation in the number of deer accidents....I whacked one two months ago with my Toyota Prerunner. It came charging out of the dark and it wasn't very pretty.

    2014 CX5 2.5 fuel econ horrible

I do not have AWD... I do get in the 30's on the hwy...my last tank (combined driving) had me at 28 mpg. This car is especially sensitive to how much foot you put on the pedal...The 1st several gears are mpg killers so stop and go will really hurt mileage. I do not commute to work and thus...
