Not True. I just found glass from an independent glass company, covered by insurance. Safe Lite was taking for ever and I gave up on them

I finally gave up on Safelite and went with another company and mission will be accomplished tomorrow.

I was also waiting for Safe-Lite and after a week I gave up. Another local glass company is replacing my CX-% GT windshield tomorrow. Why Safelite was taking so long is anyone's guess but try another source.

My 14 month old CX-5 (2013) with 16000 miles just developed a crack about 18 inches long over the steering wheel. Safe lite says they are about one week on back order. I am not aware of anything hitting my windshield. My Allstate insurance company suggested Safe-lite and I have full coverage...

Anyone have a "rattle" or "slapping" sound from behind the drivers seat? My CX 5 GT AWD, 2013 with 12000 miles on it just started with this noise. In particular, when I make a sharp turn . I think it might be tied into the seat belt strap mechanism but am only guessing. Any ideas???

You have any children...playing in the car?? MY GT has 11000 miles and the leather seats are like new as is the rest of the CX 5

I just got off the phone with Compustar. One DOES have to give up a factory remote for installation under the dash somewhere. The car will shut off IF you take over 45 seconds to actually start the car upon entering the car. You WILL have to carry BOTH remotes with you. The factory proximity...

did you also find that the engine turned off upon approaching car??? How much did you spend??

How far away does the remote work, from the car? I assume you had to give up one of the two factory remotes?

It may not make any difference BUT I think the Mazda CX5 has a unibody and NOT a frame. That may make it easier or not easier to fix. Do not know.

I would bet you that the viper that one day would work on the 2013 would also work on the 2014....when it is available

I wonder if the different size wheels throw off the accuracy of the on board computer that calculates among other things, mileage and speed???

I just finished a 800 mile trip in my CX-5 2013 GT and averaged 31 MPG on the interstate. No "coasting" but rather normal driving. Very happy with the mileage.
