I'm liking those wheels. Another pet dislike of mine is black wheels...I'm still living with the pizza wheels which I'm possibly getting used to now .

I was going to buy the red but there were red cx5's every where I went around here. I went to dealer on a Sunday and stood there and looked at most of the colours for quite a long while. Sonic Silver won out. I've never owned a silver car before and I'm 100% happy.

Australia is the middle of a massive heatwave. I can confirm the air con can keep the cx5 cold no problems.

I like that chrome piece...particularly on the red. It's defining the grille shape nicely and it's adding to the look of front not subtracting.

I have a buddy who is an electrician. He has told me you can't afford for a screw to come loose on an electrical job. He told me you tighten any screw until you start to feel it cross thread then back it off a fraction. They never come out. I don't know if he's kidding me or if he's serious.

In Australia they are advertising the 19 models on tv now and using the Zoom Zoom catch phrase. They must have them ready for delivery now. As far as I know we have no way to check on any dealer stocks like US people do.

I had my CX5 booked in to have the exact same set up you are describing there with front and rear BlackVue cams but when I told them I had just had the windows tinted they wanted a 1 week wait to stick the rear cam on so I had to book again except they were booked out for 3 weeks in advance...

The day I buy my cars [now a CX 5] I turn the air on and it doesn't get turned off until the day I sell it. Same with the radio. Did the same thing with a 2006 SP23.

I don't have it so I don't know what I'm I'm missing. I'm happy with what I have now but I'll keep an open mind if it comes to a future model I might buy.

If you have any sort of hand pump spray bottle unscrew the pump part and stick the tube in washer bottle and hand pump the liquid out into a container.[or the ground if necessary] This works as I have done this myself.

I would have ordered my CX5 without a sunroof if that option was available so no.

Lots of adds on Australian tv atm advertising the run out on 18 model CX5's. I'm wondering if Mazda have any here yet.

I've seen those chrome cover pieces on the front nose of your CX5 on Ebay and I wondered what they looked like in a decent photo. I quite like it. [note :- I'm not anti-chrome]

When I was walking around the dealer showroom looking at Mazda's I saw those towing hooks laying in the cargo area of at least 1 Mazda and possibly 2. I was thinking thats what they use to tie the Mazdas down on the boat until I saw that drawing.
