I have a 2006 Speed 6 and my coolant light came on the other day, checked the coolant level and its good and the car is not running warmer than normal. Any idea? Heard of the temp sensor going out but wouldnt that throw the cel and not the coolant light. . any input is appreciated

when you are parked the car idles low and draws power from the battery, as soon as you start to move you draw power from the alt. you get more power from the alt than you get from the battery. moveing = higher voltage higher voltage = stronger power (no dimming)

The best option that you can go wit is a component set up from alpine, we have 5x7 all the way around and alpine makes a 5x7 component (type s) they sound great!!! close to $200 maybe a lil more but very well worth it

im waiting to hear back from a sales rep for ohio genirator (a company that makes high output alt's) ill post any info i get from them. a dim in the lights is caused by a strain on the electrical system. if a high output alt is put in it should solve the problem, adding an extra batt will help...

If you are really wanting a good clean amped system you can do a JL clean sweap and convert all your factory outputs to rca outputs to where you can run a 4ch amp and subs with the factory radio but have the performance of an aftermarket radio

The only way that you can get rid of that problem is to upgrade your alternator. the stock alternator is really weak and to produce that much power is really hard on it. that or go wit digital amps, those dont require that much current draw (alpine pdx or something along those lines)
