What have you done to your MSP today?

I've never seen a Weisco piston, but there should be a notch for the oil squirter, unless they don't have a stock style skirt design? Is one skirt larger than the other, ie; asymmetrical piston?

A pic I took in between some spirited runs in the local canyons

If it's just a flat plate like he posted it shouldn't be too expensive. You'll have to remember he'll be shipping from over seas too.

On another note, Excedy, Spec, or ACT clutch for the MSP? Along with that which ones can be applied to a Fidanza flywheel?

All of them

+1 ^ ... lol personally I don't like the spec too much, I have a stage 2+, a little too much chatter for my taste. I might switch to an Excedy stage 2 clutch instead

I've got a clutchmasters fx4. 6puck sprung. It grabs like a mother, only chattered out of first for about a month till it was good and worked in. The best part about it is the pressure plate. The fulcrum is changed so it still has the force to hold the torque but still feels just slightly stronger than the stock one. I've driven cars with heavy clutches and I hate them. Hurts my bad knee to pump in traffic. I've got no issues with the one on my car.

I've got to install my new engine harness, reinstall the SSAFC, wire in my gauges, then the engine will be ready to install. Should have it done by next week.

I get the inserts, but why didn't you ever install the 3rd link kit? It didn't make a huge difference, but every bit counts

Rotated tires, cleaned & dressed up the wheel wells while the tires were off. Quick engine bay cleanup as well and discovered the master brake fluid reservoir cap was split/cracked. (huh)

Dealership wanted $43.00 for a new cap but found an OEM cap online @Mazda of Escondido for $13.00 w/free shipping.

~~~ EDIT ~~~
The r/rear door actuator just started the grinding noise and door lock is not opening! (gah) FML...
