What have you done to your Miata today?

Good progress today. Installed the intake and PS and coolant.

Took a deep breath and turned the key. She caught and started almost right away. Got the system up to temp and checked for leaks, none. Bled the coolant and looked. good.

Started working on replacing the front rotor and pad. Took me an hour to get the rotor off. Had to drill out the screws and pop the rotor off the rusted hub.

Also changed the oil and filter before getting her running.

Will try to finish the brakes tomorrow after I get my sister's tractor ready for the summer.

It was good to hear the old girl running again after 1 1/2 years.

Packing up the Miata for the journey home tomorrow! Get to crash at Jeff’s for the night, thanks man!

Did a quick detail of the exterior and interior and wiped down the wheels. Had I waited to buy wheels, I might have passed on black after 'pollen season' started.

Got the brakes finished today. New pads and rotors, Still need to bleed the system and put fresh fluid in.

I've flushed the cooling system once. Need to do it one more time and then add FL 22 coolant to finish. Tomorrow to get the body back on and get it out of the shed.

Bruce, Jeff says hi! 🙋‍♂️
Lol, hey Jeff. Hope to see you soon.

Made more progress today. Flushed the cooling system multiple times and added FL 22 coolant. Installed the undertray and inner fender well fronts. Ran into an issue with the front bumper cover, I will need to reinstall some parts they removed when they redid the bumper cover. A few more days I hope.

Thanks to Jeff and Tammy for the stay over! On the way out I forgot they had a drop off at the end of the driveway, oops, tore off my sto n sho plate holder....got a real awesome foam and tie wrap setup until the new bracket arrives. It’s a good think I didn’t have the plate on, it would have ruined the grill!

Yes, would be great to see you. You gotta work on the Gov't up there to relax things a bit.

It's been a few days, is the ol' girl running?

Most welcome and we were happy to have you! I still feel terrible that your plate holder ripped off but I am thankful it didn't do any damage to the car.

Doing some maintenance today, oil and filter, rotate the tires, some washing and detailing to get done too! Added some under carriage bracing, replaced the OEM pieces

Sorry to hear Mark, that sucks. Can't you sue Jeff for no signage? I'm sure there is a lawyer who would jump at the chance.

I've looking at the braces for the NC but them seem much thicker than the stock stuff. Do you drag on the ground? Can't remember what suspension you're running.

They’re definitely thicker, but no where near dragging on the ground. I’m lowered about an 1” on progress springs. I’ll measure them tomorrow.
