2016 CX-9 GT
Obviously we all have Mazdas, but what other cars/trucks do you drive or are passionate about? Here are our other two cars - a 2017 Highlander XLE with 51,000 miles and a 2004 Honda S2000 with 39,000 miles.

But it's all good because I have the CX-9 now :D

Still a member on ClubLexus.com, though I rarely post there anymore. Mostly just to answer questions about wheel fitment lol.

Great thread idea for the Lounge..(y) Looking forward to see what other vehicles people like and or have...I’d love to have one of every type (if I could).

I do wish Mazda had additional sports car models in the lineup...Something equivalent to the new GR Supra (which I would happily own).

Remember how some years ago Nissan refurbished a bunch of 240Zs and sold them in dealerships?

Wouldn't it be amazing if Mazda did the same thing with the 1992 twin turbo RX7? It would be a great bridge from the end of the RX8 till the roll out of a new RX9.

I have a 2005 GMC Canyon 4 door 3.5 liter (inline 5.) Not gonna post a pic until I clean it, and that's not gonna happen anytime soon...it's a truck, for goodness sake!

Before I got my CX-5, I had a 1990 Volvo 740 Turbo. Bambi's dad took it out (well, it was a bilateral encounter) just shy of 200,000 miles. I miss having a stick shift.

My choice over the Honda S2000:
Side note: How can you be passionate about an SUV unless maybe it is a 400+ HP Macan?

IMO you can be passionate about anything. The passion comes from what the car means to you. For example, I was once passionate about my 1991 Honda Accord because it was technically my first car. I learned a lot working on/modifying that car. For others, its a POS A-to-B car. But for me, I still want to find a 92-93 and modify it.

Macan rep speaks for itself. But there are a few others IMO that don't take a back seat to sports car dreams.

Audi Q8 (i believe there's an R version) is one. And the Range Rovers. I can't recall the bigger one's exact name, but the Velar is nice too.

And it may be excessive but I've always had a thing for Escalades. The new one has some crazy dash design going on.

Other vehicle is 17 CRV Touring, white. Once wife ends mat leave, that'll be her ride into city. Downtown Toronto parking garages aren't kind to bigger vehicles. Then CX9 is my daily. For now, it's sort of random who takes what.

When we purchased CRV, we traded in a 2011 silver CX-7. Was non turbo, and FWD...but had leather and moonroof. First truly "nice" car I owned. No offense to my 2 door Cavalier circa 1997.

Trading in the CX7 meant we needed something at the time to pair with a 14 Camry SE, so we wanted some size/cargo. CRV ended up beating out CX5.

Then last yr that Camry was traded for the CX9.

If I could go back, knowing I'd eventually have the size of CX9, I'd have gone CX5.

Aloha from Hawaii🤙🏽
Here are the other rides
The black AE86 I sold it after 10yrs owning it
and 2yrs after ended up getting another AE86 because I missed that AE86 life. The Tacoma is the wife’s with straight up Hawaiian Style LoL

We've been pretty much all-in on Mazda for a while, although we pondered an electric vehicle the last time we shopped. My primary car is a 2016 MX-5 and my wife drives a 2018 CX-5. Our previous rides were a 2013 CX-5 and a 2012 Mazda3.

2013 Volvo C70, the last year of this hard top convertible. :(

Nice S2000! A definite top enthusiast choice. This is my passion project, an 88 Dodge Daytona 5-spd. I got it a little over 2 years ago and before then I had never so much as changed my own oil. Now I can do a lot more!

Nice! And a Priest license plate too! Awesome. I PINED for one of the Shelby versions of the Daytona back in the day! Got to drive one, but couldn't afford it back then. Is that the Augusta airport? If so I used to live down at the bottom of the hill from there.

I'd love to have a Shelby but one in good condition is hard to find and over my current budget of $0, haha. Good guess, but it's the Bangor airport. This was over near the GE building. It's a perfect spot for photos.

I can't find pics of my mustang, but it's an 89 5.0 Coupe, white, with many mods including a supercharger (437rwhp).

EDIT: forgot about my 2006 GSXR750. Owned since ~2007 and racked up over 20k miles in it. It's now my commuter during the summer.

I hope these pictures work, sorry they are low res.
My new(used) '16 Golf R, that is replacing my 2014 Explorer. The R was supposed to be a CX5, but seat comfort was not good.
