What did you pay for your CX-5?

Just purchased a 2019 Metallic Grey GTR!
MSRP: $36,800
Dealer Discount: -$3,131.61
Mazda Cash: -$1000
Vehicle Cost: $32,668.39

OTD with TTL: $35,300.00

Purchased in FL

Loving the vehicle so far!!

My local dealer just received 3 red Signatures yesterday. They also added a blue one to go with the white they've had for a week. They have 12 more various colored Sig's on order. This is the most I've ever seen on hand, so it will be interesting to see how long they actually last. They had a black one the longest, which was in stock for almost 3 weeks, awhile back.

Maybe I should ask for a commission. :)

Congrats on the new Sig! I have yet to see another one in the area. There are a lot of CX-5's out there, though. Or, maybe I just didn't notice them before getting one.

Ha! Technically I didn't see your post until days later when I joined the board.

Agreed, I'm seeing a lot more cx5s now that I have one, but most are the older style.

I got 7% off, nobody in Chicago would go lower. I tried!

Yea, I heard that from a lot of folks, so you did well, and are happy (the main key), it's just not a price I would buy at, and as stated, they definitely had room to celebrate a little...

Enjoy your new whip, and first Mazda. It was mine too, and I'm all around happy so far...

I will be going to do the dealership tomorrow to pick up my first Mazda. I have been shopping locally and these are the best quotes I have been able to receive, not sure how much more wiggle room there is at the Dealership. I am likely to get the GT

Finally made the purchase, ended up with a Red AWD GT

Total before fees: $28,939
Total w/ TTL & fees: $31,400

Took the $1,000 rebate.

New member here. I just purchased a new 2019 GT-Reserve in Southern California. Here is the breakdown:
Vehicle: $32,255
Machine Gray Metallic Option: $300
Roof Rack Side Rails Option: $400
Destination Fee: $1045
Total before sales tax, license and registration, doc fees and misc. filing fees: $34,000

Dealers in California are capped at $85 for the documentation fees. There was another $37 for E-filing and the tire recycling fee. I took advantage of the 0.9%/36 month financing that was available. I had done some research on my trade in value and came prepared with some documentation and a CARFAX printout. The dealer gave me around $800 above wholesale trade in value on my old car so all in all I felt that I received a very fair deal.

Hey guys I'm looking to get a 2019 CX5 Touring FWD w/ Preferred Package (MSRP $29,035) and live in Central Florida. The best offer I've received so far is $2500 off dealer discount and $1500 off rebate ($25,035) plus $799 dealer fee and TTL. Do you think I could get a better deal than that? I was hoping to be able to get closer to $3500 dealer discount, does that sound realistic?

Hey guys

Is this a good deal for. GT-R?

MSRP: $35915
Sale price: $32450
Rebate: $500

Net sale price: $31950
OTD price : $35528.34

This is in NorCal

Ok, just bought new 2018 FWD, sport
Did I get a good deal ? Not seeing a lot of data on sport trim..(uhm)
Anyone seen maybe numbers for 2019 sport here ?

No trade in

MSRP: 25,970, which includes just
- premium for white color 200
- i-activsense package: 625

I negotiated to 22800 plus standard fees and taxes, so pretty much 3.1k off
Did not have much time so maybe could have been a little better
(dealer fee: 500, taxes in MA are 6.25%, registration 200)

Was initially looking to buy used or cpo until I saw this one and decided to go with new.

The Sport sells in low numbers. Also getting a deal on Sport and Touring is tougher as there are more buyers in the 20-27K range than in the 27K + range, also most Mazda dealers stock low # of Sport. Seeing the MSRP its almost close to a base touring back in 16. I think you did well. I am curious to see what is in the iactiv sense package and how you like it.

I see, makes sense
I was actually planning getting 16 used touring or sport in the beginning and still kinda wanted 17 or 18 but was
not seeing many used priced competitively (looked on cargurus mostly).

As far as the package, for sport it has as per Mazda site:
High Beam Control
Lane Keep Assist
Mazda Radar Cruise Control
Smart Brake Support
Automatic On/Off Headlights
Rain-sensing variable-intermittent windshield wipers

Having car for couple of days I like Lane Keep Assist quite a bit
It was nice touch when I was testing it a warning showed up I should put hands on the wheel (drive)
Have not tested other ones and hope never have to test SBS or SCBS (rolleyes)
