Weight of stock MS3 shift knob: 266g

I saw somebody ask this a while ago (I couldn't find the post though)... I figured I'd post this up just in case anyone is curious.

If it somehow matters this is the stock knob from an '07 Mazdaspeed3. As you can see, it's 266.2 grams.

LOL, I knew that was coming... I never expected it to be the first reply.

I actually got it for shipping stuff. I got a big scale for heavy stuff, lil' scale for light stuff. (I was tired of having to guess the weight of stuff I sell on eBay.)
 
Well, when it's time for weight reduction on my ms3 I know exactly where to start. A carbon fiber shift knob will totally knock a couple of tenths off the quarter mile...

LOL..I had to dig this thread up from the grave...just what im looking for...Im shopping around for a new weighted shift knob for my ms3 and too lazy to run to the post office to find out how many grams the stock ms3 knob weighs..thanks Hirudin!
 
Damn bro you must wear a sharp ring on your right hand. That thing is pretty scratched up!
