Underseat subwoofer

I got a 2012 5 recently and wanted to add a sub to add a little more bottom. I wondered if anyone had done an underseat sub. I want to keep as much of the multicapability as possible without having to run wires from the HU to the rear of the car. I thought maybe a bazooka bt6100 between the mid row seats, but the tube is 6 7/8 inches and the space between the seats is the same or a hair more. I had read the different threads here, but did not see anything about it.

Why not do something small under one of the front seats?

I just haven't quite figured out if there is enough space in front of the rear seat heat duct to fit something in there.
