ok here are the Toyo Open Country H/T tires installed these are 235/55/20 a little more narrow and a little taller 30.2" tall x 9.8" wide. The original Bridgestone 245/50/20 are 29.8" tall x 10" wide. I drove them on a 100 mile trip immediately, they are much quieter than the oem, and ride better as well. The sipes are zig zag and there are plenty of them, they are also full depth sipes. They are a 60k mile tire with a utqg of 640 just letting everyone know of yet another tire option for the niners......heres some photos of them mounted.

Nice pics! They fill the wheel well better and offers better rim protection. How is the handling in terms of turn in and steering feel? Are they expensive?

I got them for $850 shipped to my house from tread depot, they are on sale right now (normally would be 925), not sure how much longer the sale is going. They handle in my opinion as good. The ride is softer and turn in isn't quite as quick (marginally) the steering feel is still very responsive. I also gps measured my speed with these and the originals, with the bridgestones the actual speed was slower than indicated, with the new tires it is dead on. I verified this with two different gps units. So so far I am well pleased.

Wow. Great price. Thanks for the info. These tires should make the CX-9 a better cruiser on the highway. But the looks alone and rim protection make them well worth it along with better snow traction of course.

I followed the same logic with my 07 CX-9. Installed Yoko Parada Spec X 235/65R18's instead of the OEM 245/60R18's.
