I posted this a while back but thought a refresh might help some....
As many of you have noticed - after you remote start, then get in the car and tap the brake (this is where control is transferred from your remote to the Mazda key fob) there is a temporary disconnect where the engine seems to shut down for a second, as well as the AC/Heat/fan. Well, I discovered that if I hit the Start/Stop button twice quickly, instead of tapping the brake, none of the aforementioned shut-downs occur, and the transfer is seamless. YMMV
