Stuck Slider Pin?

Basically the thing that happens at 00:03:04 in this video, it ain't happening for me.

How I described the issue elsewhere:

Hey guys. My front brakes have a stuck caliper slider pin up top and it is closed on the top pin. There is no access to that pin as it is covered by the actual caliper casting. Basically the issue is that I can't flip up the caliper lid to access the pads. Any ideas? It's an 02 mp5.

a lot of the time if you haven't had your calipers off in a while you will need a pry-bar to pry between the caliper and the rotor cooling fins to get it to come off.

I took off the whole caliper and compressed the piston to fit the back pad. Thank you for the advice!
