NOTE: PM me for a link to more pictures. I didn't want to retake all my pictures with the forum sign.

2003 Spicy Orange Mazda Mazdaspeed Protege for sale. 136k miles. I purchased this as a non-running car one year ago and have replaced a large number of parts including the engine to make it a good & running car again.

The good:
Loads of brand new parts, including clutch, tires, & brakes
High-quality aftermarket parts
Turbo works perfectly and comes online quickly

The bad:
Front end has a little damage from a previous accident
Interior shows some wear
Stereo head unit & possibly subwoofer are flaky
Foglights aren’t working

Brand new & nearly new parts:
Exedy OEM clutch kit (clutch, throwout bearing, pressure plate)
All gaskets (head, exhaust manifold, intake manifold, valve cover, turbo oil feed lines, etc)
Corksport shifter bushings
Freshly planed and reinforced exhaust manifold
Front wheel bearings
Rod bearings
Timing belt, water pump, & components (in last 1k miles)
Tires (in last 1k miles)
Brake pads (in last 1k miles)
Leather steering wheel

Aftermarket parts:
Custom, professionally installed 3” exhaust
Injen intake pipes and cold air intake
Forge bypass valve
Silicon vacuum hoses

In the interest of full disclosure the engine still makes some noise before warming up after it hasn’t been started in a while. I believe this is because the recently-replaced rod bearings are still breaking in. The noise goes away within a few minutes of starting the car, and only happens when the car hasn’t been started in a while. The car runs well – you’re welcome to come see for yourself.

Title is clean and it is ready to go. Asking $3900 but open to reasonable offers. No trades. PM me if you have more questions or want to see the car.
