my clutch has started this low pitch squeeking sound when it's cold and it's engaging, but then the sound goes away when it heats up. I called a local performance place, and they said that's common with aftermarket clutches which are higher performance. Normally, the sound actually would get worse as it warms up I guess.
Clutch sticks and works great otherwise, but makes that wierd sound. I'm told that when clutches slip that it doesn't make a sound, so although some people may have said it's slipping what they may have been hearing was the same sound I've been hearing (unless of course it was actually slipping, which sucks).
im running bpt in my 323BG
OEM Exedy slips.
Changed to SPEC stage2 clutch.
SPEC recommends me to get stage3 disc only for better grip.
I am contemplating if I will get this or just get another clutch kit from other brands like ACT or extreme clutch.
