Polymetal grey vs DCB Mica - which will be easier to maintain?

I like both of these colours, and am starting to fall into the rabbit hole of Mazda paint issues in my research. I expect this car to get slightly banged up by the kiddos. Any advice on colour choice?

I've noticed over the years that dark colors seem to get dirty quicker than lighter ones. I had a sunlight silver protege for years and it hid dirt pretty well. My new car is more gunmetal colored and it definitely needs washes more often than the old car.

Hard to say which will be easier between the two, in terms of paint correction/repair, but I agree with Natey that lighter colours look cleaner for longer and hide scratches better. I would say that PG would be more low maintenance in that case.

With either colour, the best way to maintain your paint is to ensure that you're washing it correctly and with the right towels.

@Grammat
Either color.
