We've added a new forum feature: Question threads. These are threads that anyone can create if they're looking for answers or solutions. What makes them unique is the ability to "upvote" another user's (or your own) post if you think that it provides a good solution. Members can also filter the responses displayed by upvotes instead of by date to view the most popular responses first. The thread creator can also mark a post as a solution, allowing the response to appear at the top of the page. This saves others from having to read through multiple pages of comments and discussion to find the answer to the question(s) posed in the original post.

Question threads can be created in the Support forum, or in any of the model-specific subforums.

Creating a Question thread
Navigate to the forum you wish to post the question in. In this example, I'm in the CX-5 General subforum. Click on the orange Post Thread button (1).

On this page, select a prefix (2) if necessary, and type your question in the thread title field (3). Select the Question tab (4) underneath the thread title field.

Type out your question in the text field and add files (if necessary). Remember that we can attach short video clips as well as photos and PDFs to a post. Underneath the text box, ensure that there is a checkmark beside "Yes" for Allow question actions (5).

Click on the blue Post Thread button at the bottom of the page to finish.

Upvoting a post and sorting by upvotes
In order to upvote a post, simply tap/click on the "up" arrow (1) on the right-hand side of the post. The number of upvotes for the post is displayed underneath the arrow.

To sort by upvotes, click on Sort by votes (2), located underneath the original post on the first page.

Marking a post as a solution
To mark a post as a solution, the thread creator can click on the checkmark (1) underneath the number of upvotes on the right-hand side of the post. The column on the right will turn green, and the marked post will be pinned immediately after the original post, with a green header identifying it as the solution (2).
