Hi all. Newbie to the forum. I have a low mileage MS3 2012 hatchback with what sounds like rod knock. I've worked on cars before (VW/Porsche) but never Mazdas. Am thinking about rebuilding myself. Is this something a competent DIYer can tackle or are these engines too tricky. Are there good sources for how to videos or books? What about upgrades as long as I am in there and have it torn down. Thanks in advance for all info.
