Mazda3 performance compared to a Protege5!!!

Well some might want to know how much od a difference there is between a stock 2003 protege5 and a 2004 Mazda 3 hatchback S. Well first its a 30 horsepower difference from 130 to 160 and 150 pounds of torque Second the mazda 3 has variable valve timing and variable valve intake. The protoge doesnt have either. There's a lot of difference between the two cars.
The MZ3 has:
-New engine
-Nice supple ride, yet handles better than a Protege (someone wanna back me up on this?)
-WAY better interior design
-A form of variable valve timing.
many other things.
