IMPORTANT: As of May 01, 2018, Japan produced vehicles use lug nuts with 17mm hex head instead of 21mm the thread remains the same.

^^ This is correct. Sorry for the misinformation. While either would fit, the key for the lock would need a 21mm socket. Probably not something you would want to carry around with you.
