Mazda mechanic/master code?

My '16 CX-5 indicates that it's time to rotate the tires.

My local Mazda dealer (in Germany) claims he doesn't know how to do this as German Mazdas apparently don't recommend the tire rotation after only 6 months.

I can get the tires rotated at a local shop but I need to clear the message.

Can someone help me out? My BMW has a master code through I-drive. the Mazda use the similar interface to reset service messages? If so Does anyone know the master code for the CX-5?

I downloaded the 2016 owners manual and it looks like section 6-20 to 6-21 may have your answer. Worth a look.

Can't you just go into the maintenance section on the infotainment screen and reset that parameter?

I'm surprised a Mazda dealer would say this on two levels:

1) Any competent shop should know how to rotate tires.
2) Tire rotation is not a time based maintenance- it's based 100% on distance traveled.

Apologies, I don't know how to reset your warning notice (2013 doesn't have this).
