*Shiver*

Just the phrase Electrical Engineering makes me have flashbacks to college... Visions of 6 hour labs, TI circuit diagrams, and Mountain Dew dance in my head... ;)

Hell, and I was a Computer Engineering Major... lol

I am a Software Engineer.

Ever see that commercial with the guy who tries to log into his computer...and it asks for a hair sample? Then the camera pans out to show he's bald and has no chest hair left?

Anyway, thats my product, eTrust Antivirus. I'm in charge of porting it to Mac OS X. There is one other guy working on the kernel extension but other than that I'm pretty much on my own.

Real exciting huh. I look forward to my half-hour ride home down back roads in my P5 every day.

Senior Systems Analyst - Mainframe Technical Support (VM, VSE, VTAM, CICS, etc..) Company I work for is a 3rd Party Insurance company.
on call 24/7/365 - work in the office around 30 hours a week, at home work equals another 20+ or so.. Pay is good.

Admin Assistant aka Biotch for a company specializing in advanced underwater communications. We engineer and manufacture PC boards for underwater ROVs and offshore drilling. The pay is less than what I'm used to but it evens out because the people are great, the job is good and I get to talk to guys with accents all day b/c our clients are mostly overseas. :D

Programmer @ Honeywell...

I make programs to tell the rest of us engineers if a fan blade from and airplane engine is going to move 0.0000000001 in. and rip the engine to pieces.

First off:
Was a corprate chef for 8 yrs. Got totally burned out working 18hr days, 7 days a week, w/ only a 1 week vacation per year.

Joined the navy for a change of pace being an operation specialist (air intercept controller, fire control sysems, satelite link relay systems, and ship`s navigational). Did this all for another 8yrs.

Went back to working resturants in Caesar`s Palace here in Las Vegas. Got laid off thanks to the damn culinary union!!

Now...i`m starting over. Going back to school to become a massage therapist for the medical field(BIG $ in this growing field!!!).

I`m also working along w/ a bud of mine, doing trouble shooting and computer up grades for small bussiness and alike.

i have a friend like that...had a job...got bored...changed jobs....got laid off...went back to school (massage school)...now he works as a therapist at a sports rehab center...and above all he's happy...lol

I am the General Sales Manager at SPD Racing, a tunning and mail order shop, outside of San Diego, The pay isn't that great but working around all kinds of cool mazda's puts a smile on my face..
