Might be interessted... Wath is the benefits of using hard pipes instead stock pipe ... wath is the gain ???

I did not know stock pipes leaked? maybe after they crack?

The stock pipes don't leak. They just have more of a chance of cracking due to being plastic. They expand and contract because of the difference in temperature on the inside of them as opposed to the outside. Lastly, hardpipes SS or aluminum will insulate the inside air better than the plastic (the engine gets hot), and the whole point of this system is to cool air before it get to the TB.
