Floorliners for 2021 CX-5 GT

:
'17-6, '21 CX-5
Anybody know if the Weathertech or Husky floorliners (not floor mats) that are listed for a 2020 CX-5 will fit a 2021? Websites that carry them do not have them listed for the 2021's, can't get a straight answer from these vendors. Have the interior dimensions changed at all from 2020-2021 models?

Same question for the retractable cover......

You should check with Mazda and see if their floor mats have the same part numbers for the 20s and 21s. If they do, then you can be pretty much assured that nothing has changed dimension-wise.

That’s the best suggestion by minnesotaart if you want to verify although all floor liners for 2020 CX-5 should also fit 2021 CX-5 as there’s no dimensional changes for interior.

Just say no to Weathertech floor liners unless you want your foot rest only half covered.

IMO the best floor liners for gen-2 CX-5 are OEM Mazda CX-5 Canadian Premium Floor Liners. You can find them from MazdaShop / Scarborough Mazda in Canada which are cheaper.

Yeah, it's Scarborough Mazda in Canada https://mazdashop.ca/collections/20...loor-liners-1st-row-mazda-cx-5-2017-2018-2019 . You can get them on Amazon and ebay as well, but they are actually a little cheaper ordering direct from the Scarborough dealership, right now $141 for front and $99 for rear vs $150 and $110 on Amazon/Ebay. All 3 have free shipping.

And yes, Mazda OEM accessory has the same floor liners for 2017~ 2021 CX-5 based on the info from MazdaShop / Scarborough Mazda in Canada.

Just talked to the parts manager at my dealership. He says any accessories (floor mat, liners, cargo cover etc) that are listed in the 2020 accessories will fit the 2021's, the dimensions are exactly the same. Sooooo....think I'm gonna order a set of Husky Weatherbeaters and a retractable cover that are listed for the 2020's

My Husky Weatherbeaters finally arrived for my 2021. Upon the advice from Huskyliners.com, ordered them for a 2020 and they fit like a glove.....very pleased with their coverage.......and price!

Clarifying: The Canadian Premium mats are Mazda OEM versions (sharp custom style) of the 3d-Maxpider mats, as made by that company for Mazda Canada.
Maxpider / Canadian Premium is the single best mat on market, light, cushioned soft and pliable, not hard and heavy rubber or industrial type plastic (looking at you, WT apcray), yet full coverage and waterproofing. I prefer the classic carpet/elegant versions where available, but Kagu carbon weave is more commonly sold.
The Mazda OE version from Canada looks nicer, but it's the exact same feature set and function. Hard to buy many brands of good mats these days, so many vendors are sold out of stock at present.

Full suite 3D Kagu (Non-Canada OEM Version) in my 2020. Would have gotten the Canada version but couldn’t justify the price differential at the time just for the more attractive branding. These liners are amazing. Love them.

* Yeah, they look a bit scuffed up but that was easily remedied with a swipe from a damp microfiber or paper towel. Since taking these pics, I also added the aluminum pedal covers (omitting the dead pedal cover, which looks silly to me, and seems especially useless when these liners cover the entire dead pedal and are far more comfortable).

Yes they all fit 2021.

Wish I had seen this thread earlier before I just went to automatically purchase the WeatherTech Floorliner HP. Paid through the nose, but since it is my wife's car, I thought I had better get the WeatherTech because it was what she was used to. It turns out the WeatherTech only covers about 3/4s of the the dead pedal.

The HP seems to be a little heavier, in that there are more ribs and nibs. The 2021 HP mats shown below in this US spec 2021 CX5.
1. Passenger front backside with ribs and nibs
2. Driver front showing toned down logo and half dead pedal coverage
3. Passenger front
4. Rear mat, from passenger side.

The trunk mat is still in shipment somewhere. It may not be as good as the Mazda OEM mat in that it does not have cut outs for the cargo hooks or the triangular fold back flaps for the rear mini storage compartments. WeatherTech does have a higher lip, though. I have to decide, when it comes, whether I want to return it and use Mazda OEM trunk liner. I was pretty happy with the Mazda OEM trunkliner in the Mazda 6, although it did not have as high a sides nor as tough a material.

Mazda OEM Canadian Premium floor liners may be made by 3D MAXpider, but these 2 floor liners look different on style、pattern、and material in detail. Both Canadian Premium and Maxpider liners definitely are better fit by the evidence of curved edge around the accelerator base vs. straight line up on Husky Weatherbeaters liners.

Got the WeatherTech TrunkLiner today for 2021 CX-5. The mat has provision to cut out holes for the cargo hooks near the seats and indents near the hatch opening for the rear cargo hooks. They thought ahead on those features. Does not have the folding hinge for the triangular compartments, but the TrunkLiner is pretty flexible, so should not be a worry.

Just a brief update on cleaning these:

Mine were COVERED in road salt and dirty snow meltings and all other sorts of detritus for a few weeks before it got warm enough I could hand wash the car again (in one of the commercial self-serve bays).

I hung these mats up and hit them with the high-pressure rinse and they were looking brand new in a matter of seconds. A half sheet of Bounty was all it took to completely dry them and put them back in the car.

Meanwhile, no snow or mud got underneath the mat; not even around the gas pedal. I needed maybe 30 seconds to run the car vacuum around the driver’s side floor. Carpet still looks brand new.

Could not be happier. Love these things!
