Well here I go this weekend.... about to put the 1st amount of real mileage on my recently acquired 113k miles 2011 CX-9 Sport. I sure hope the cooling system keeps it's integrity while I drive from PNW Washington through Central Oregon, in the middle of the day... in the middle of July. Eeep...
I'll return and report regardless of how it goes.

Best thing you can do is be prepared with some extra fluids in the trunk, and keep an eye on your temp gauge. If you're prepared, then there no reason to worry about an issue until an issue pops up. Just enjoy the drive

Made it back in one piece and the soccer mom rig performed well. Transmission is smoooth like buddah after the flush & refill + Lubeguard Shudder Fix addition. Only thing I noticed is when climbing above 4000ft & 105° outside, it wanted to pop down into 4th gear more than I liked. I just flipped over to manual shifting and managed it myself. Just shy of 1000 miles and the car did great.
