External air sensor - driving lights - Problem

Hi all.... I'm not sure if this is the right area in this forum or not for this type of post as I'm a new member.

I have an issue I'm wondering if someone can help me with?

I currently an the original owner of a 2009 Mazda 3.

I took it to the dealer's service center last week for my 150k km check up.

This check up included an engine cleaning.

About 3 days later I realized my external air sensor was not indicating the external temperature. That is, the readout on the radio/control panel wasn't indicating anything. It does indicate the temp of my AC temperature but when switching to read the outside air temp, nothing.

Now a few more days pass by and I notice that my driving lights (some, especially those in the USA may call these 'fog' lights) don't work.

Both of these two things all worked fine before I went in for servicing.

I don't own a service manual and really have never had any issues with the car all these years. So I am wondering if there are any experts that may know what these two items might have in common? (i.e. share the same fuse, perhaps a cable that may have come disconnected, etc.)

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

TIA,
