E brake hanging up

My rear brakes have been hanging up recently. Put new pads on thinking that would solve the issues but it didn’t,I just chewed through a new set of pads lol. Sprayed wd40 on the linkages I could find for it and it seemed to work for a few days then back to sticking again. Anyone have a remedy for this? Rather not have to throw dirt on my flaming pads again lmao

Yeah, don't use WD-40.
It's a solvent that evaporates, then leaves everything dry.


Check and regrease your slider pins.

Make sure your P-brake cables are releasing.

Buy some spray oil or spray grease and lube the connection points.

I’ll have to try the white lithium on it tomorrow,I just found a can of it yesterday too. Probably a sign from the car gods telling me to fix things the right way lol
