Dead Spot at 6000 RPMS???

Ok, well at 6000 Rpms my car decides it wants to just go down to 3000 RPMs randomly, like a dead spot..... anyone have this issue before? Spark plugs?

care to explain more? That's a pretty big jump in RPM.

In any gear, if i make a pull to 6000 RPMs it just gives out and drops to 3000 RPMs as if i was down shifting but it stays in gear. Its really odd, and i have no idea what the problem could be. Im thinking maybe the spark plugs, but who knows.... im hoping that someone on here has had the same problem

Could be a coil pack I had the same problem befor sorta stumbles ? No ch k engine

Kinda sounds like he's going into limp mode

...or he's a got a coil going bad, and it's arching at those RPMs, heat, and load.
