I have a 2017 CX9 Grand Touring I want to lower and put on new tires and rims. I am considering coil over approach Ceika , widening the tires/rims with Michelin Pilots. But I am concerned with the change in ride while handling will be much better. Any suggestions or experience would be welcome.

I think it will depend on how much you lower the car, how aggressive the spring rates are on the coilovers, and how the dampers of the coilovers are valved. I would suggest contacting Ceika directly and talking with them. Tell them how much you want to lower the car, and how close to OEM ride quality you want to be. They should be able to suggest a configuration that works for you.

Wow, sounds like they came quick. When did you place the order? Did you speak to anyone over the phone, or did you just place the order on the website?
I don't mean to hijack your thread but I have lowered mine with coilovers recently. I didn't go with the Ceika Coilovers, I went with a brand call KT Racing in Taiwan and I think Ceika is made in Taiwan as well. KT Racing actually have YouTube videos of their coilovers installed on a CX9 but the video is in Chinese.
There is about 2 and a half fingers gap from tire to fender all around and I am running 285/35/22 tires.
The coilovers are high quality from what I learned on the YouTube video. Have 30 dampening levels and the ride is very comfortable on soft setting and I adjusted both from and back to 12 clicks and it's perfect with some good firmness.

@sniper913 Looks good!! Is this their website? I went on it, and it looks like they only list the CX-9 under their "Rear damping adjustment car list" for the MA-40 product. Is that what you ordered? They also do not list any pricing, did you have to contact them to get a quote? If so, how much was the set (in $USD)?
Their website is not the most updated. I found them on Facebook and I contacted them on Facebook Messenger and the sales person replied right away at their Taiwan time when their office is open from 8:30am to 5:30pm. It was $850USD shipped. From time I paid to I got the coilovers took 3 business days.
There was one issue with the rear coilovers and that is the rear strut OEM bolt is 14mm in diameter but their rear coilovers bolt opening is only 12mm but when I messenged them they send me replacement right away. Mine is a 2017 so I am not sure if the newer version has a smaller opening. Other than that, the coilovers are excellent value and this company actually just specialize in coilovers, that's all they do.

Their website shows that they also offer brake kits, though I didn't check to see if the CX-9 was an option. Maybe it's old information.

I would say it's an excellent deal for $850USD. I live in Canada BC btw. Have to pay about $50bucks for taxes and duties which is fine. After I drive it a bit more I will do a small write up and provide links to everyone etc. They have lower control arms as well so rear camber can be adjusted. They were $380USD shipped.

@Dlind @sniper913 any updates/feedback on your coilover setups installed in March/April of last year? Looks like Ceika recently released their air suspension kits for the CX-9 so we have at least one more option if we want to go lower.
