Hi all, I have a 2021 Australian model cx30 (Japan build). The top spec model has led DRLs but the rest have yellow halogen DRLs (but led headlights). Mine is this sort with the halogen DRL. Since buying the car I'd intended on replacing the halogen bulbs with led as I've seen a number of people online have successfully done this on the Mazda3. Tried this weekend and it won't work. Once the bulb came out, an error message came up that a bulb had blown. The message didn't go away when the led was connected and the led didn't light up. I had a professional tech do this for me. He told me the only way would be to use a resistor which could interfere with the electrics of the car and cause warranty concerns. Does anyone know if a halogen replacement would work? A 4000-5000k halogen with a more white appearance?
