Connecting iPod to Bose stock system

I went to Bestbuy and they told me I couldn't do it because the stock headunit doesn't have an AUX. Do they know what they're talking about?

What's the best way to connect my ipod to my system?

I have an 05 Mazda 6 with the Bose soundsystem..

There are a few different options. like this one.

Other companies do any other products out there. just screach around theses forums and see find alot of information about different products and reviews from each.

Only downside to these type of kits is that you will loose your xm radio.

There are also how-to posts in this forum that gives detailed instrustions on how to install one of these systems.

There are a million threads on this topic. Do a search for "ipod" and you will have a ton of results to read thru. It seems like there are 5 or 6 decent products that will connect an Ipod to our cars, but none of them are perfect. With each, there are pros and cons. Just read up, keep a list/take notes. Then make your own decision.
