Boring Daily Build

Well my thought was diesel oil with diesel fuel to clean all the heavy stuff out then if I have success, use Seafoam every oil change as you do for preventative maintenance.

That’s funny. I just have a big tube of dielectric grease on hand.

Gave the interior a detail. Cleans up pretty good for a $200 beater.

I put a windshield cover in and it makes it look like the windows are tinted... hmm makes me want to.

How would I remove the plastic trim pieces around the shifter? All the crud around it is gonna bother me.

Interior deep cleaning is so satisfying!

Gotta pop the whole centre console out from memory, there's a couple of screws down each side and it takes a bit of wiggling to get it out

From memory there's 2 hidden screws that hold the silver bits in, the trim around the shifter is a clip-in piece (I think!) pulling the whole console means you can get in and clean the carpet over the trans tunnel and clear out the junk that falls in front of the cupholders

Procrastination kinda bit me in the butt, I don't have diesel fuel to change the oil, so I can't do much with the Mazda. I need paper towels, brake clean, seam sealer, and paint to make progress on the Jeep...

Likely not going back to school this school year so I can't get the alignment done at school... bummer

Got diesel today. Oil change and exterior detail will be soon. While it's in the garage for an oil change, I'll pop the tires off and grease the slide pins and passenger side suspension bushings. I asked about a front lift point, what about a rear lift point?

..., what about a rear lift point?

Right here, ...
The square piece of metal in the middle.

It also fits my jacks "cup" nicely as well.
(although some jacks have really small "cups".)
